"That Rug Really Tied the Room Together"

Behind every successful politician is an unholy alliance he made with his reptilian masters.

On Government Transparency:

If you can’t do it openly then you probably shouldn’t be doing it at all.

A government that operates in secrecy will never be a government of the people.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has died after suffering a stroke.

"It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning,” Thatcher spokesperson Lord Bell said in a statement.

Thatcher was 87.

Well I took the I side with thing.
I’m not at all surprised.
How the hell did I end up more republican than libertarian?

So Last Night, A Few Friends And I Decided That We Were Sick Of Seeing So Many Romney/Ryan Signs In Our Town… So We Stole Some Of Them. 29 Total.

That’s 29 illegal offenses.
Although I hate both candidates, stealing signs is the furthest from my mind. It just shows how immature your support for your candidate is.

Well, I mean, they’re going to see him as president, so all their efforts are in vain. Obama’s done.

Again. If you are going to steal other people’s property, why are you admitting to it online?

Listening to a Thomas Sowell interview
Pete Robinson: Dr. Thomas Sowell appearing on this program just over two years ago, quote. "There is such a thing as a point of no return." If Obama won the whitehouse you said he would pursue disasterous economic policies. I suppose you think he's done just that.
Thomas Sowell: Oh yes. I'm one of the few people whose not disappointed in him.

So, my friends and I went to a local restaurant, saw this on the counter, and there were two dollars in the ‘Romney’ and ‘Obama’ cups each.
Naturally, I fixed that.
I did leave the pennies alone. Something has to represent the 1%

Wait, so instead of putting some of your OWN money in the Obama cup to represent your support, you REMOVED money from the Romney cup and put it in Obama’s.
Tell me someone else is ALSO seeing the irony in this typical liberal maneuver.

It is so sad/ironic/hilarious that this person is actually PROUD of themselves for doing that. Geez.

Redistribution of wealth anyone? Seems like something a liberal would be proud of.

Please forgive me for omitting details.
When we first went into the restaurant, there were no dollars in the Romney cup. When someone put in two dollars, we joked that they put it in the wrong cup. After putting a dollar in the cup, and one of my friends put in 50¢, I then took the two dollars from the Romney cup and put them in the Obama cup.
I’m not exactly proud. True, I’m leaning towards the democrats, and well, I thought that I’d share this. It was a joke, trying to represent the 1% and all. That’s all I was aiming for.
Also, it’s a tip for a restaurant. It’s not going to anything other than said restaurant.
You aren’t helping yourself. The 1% is a complete joke. Time for you to take a long hard look at your life and some of the poor choices you’ve probably been making.

I’m not surprised.

Badass WWII Vet of the Day: Earl Jones, a 92-year-old World War II vet from Verona, KY, only needed a single shot from his .22-caliber rifle to take down an intruder at 2 a.m. Monday. “I aimed right for his heart,” said Jones, who served from 1941-46. “I didn’t go to war for nothing.”When 24-year-old Lloyd Maxwell and two accomplices burst into Jones’ living room through the basement, it was the third break-in at Jones’ home this year. He was waiting for them in a chair across the room. “Was I scared? Was I mad? Hell, no,” Jones said. “It was simple. That man was going to take my life. He was hunting me. I was protecting myself.” [gawker]

See you don’t need a large caliber if you’ve got good aim.

Take comfort conservatives. Liberals can never truly win. They don’t use guns.

I have always wondered about this. Especially when I saw the communists at the Occupy movements advocate for more gun control.
