Felony charges were dropped on Thursday against a 20-year-old University of Virginia student who says she panicked when undercover agents from the state’s Alcohol Beverage Control division mistook her water purchase for beer. According to Charlottesville (Va.) Daily Progress, the student, Elizabeth Daly, was walking to her car on April 11 at approximately 10:15 p.m. […]
All because they thought she bought beer.
God forbid a 20 yr old student have possession of alcohol.
Let me reiterate this, they drew their guns because they thought she bought alcohol.
Your tax dollars at work everyone.
Eric Holder contempt vote at 12 EST. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed with that.
There’s something they don’t want us to know. And there’s something they are hiding… You get to a point that you want to throw the TV out the window because of their constant lies.

House panel: Attorney General Eric Holder held in contempt; vote followed strictly partisan lines.
Well it appears it’s going to the House for a full vote.
This is one of my strongest beliefs.
'Fast and Furious' whistleblower says he's 'disappointed' one year later
"According to records, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives operation sent some 2,500 guns to the Sinaloa Cartel from September 2009 to January 2011. Agents asked American gun dealers to sell the weapons and report the transactions immediately to the ATF. Despite their misgivings, most firearms dealers went along. When the guns began showing up immediately at crime scenes in Mexico, Dodson warned his supervisors their operation was going to kill an American law enforcement officer, not to mention hundreds of Mexicans."
Well if this doesn’t show how inept Federal agencies are. This is really sickening. I really hope Congress holds Eric Holder in contempt.
The Daily Caller gives three reasons why Holder should be held in contempt:
1) Holder won’t comply with our subpoena. Congress has been requesting Department of Justice records about Fast and Furious since March 2011. Getting no real voluntary cooperation (and getting a lot of double talk and delay), we issued a subpoena in October 2011. It is Holder’s refusal to comply with that subpoena in good faith that is bringing this vote to the committee. We are due over 10,000 documents.
2) Holder has been less than forthcoming. The attorney general has not been candid with the committee. Some say Holder has perjured himself on what he knew about Fast and Furious and when he knew it. He has had to issue one too many “corrections” to his testimony after the fact. Most famously, Holder’s department first told us that no gun-running had occurred, then once the truth was discovered, the DOJ “retracted” that testimony — after a year of misleading the people.
3) Holder hasn’t held anyone accountable. Guns distributed through this DOJ program have been used to kill Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry as well as hundreds of Mexicans. Holder has refused to accept responsibility for the deaths on both sides of the border and has refused to hold anyone under his authority, particularly political appointees, accountable.

I need a stiff drink.
So they gave the guns to the cartels for a trafficking investigation. Then they lost track of the weapons.
“Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry.”
House Republicans, accusing President Obama of waging a war on gun owners, plan to cut off funding for an administration rule requiring firearms dealers in border states to report multiple sales of certain rifles.
Good. This is an individual right and the only thing that would be reasonable to report would be felons convicted of violent crimes getting firearms. Get the government out of my personal life. They already dropped the ball with the “Fast and Furious” operation. They are now attempting to cover it up. Can we trust this organization? No, it has too much power and clearly abuses it.
