If you’ve ever played Left 4 Dead, you understand why this is LITERALLY THE END OF FUCKING EVERYTHING. D:
Well if you had the semi-automatic shotgun this would not be an issue.
Yes guys so I got a book today.
Republic Commando: Hard Contact
It is awesome because Republic Commando is still my favorite FPS.
I have been waiting years to read this guys. YEARS!!!
I do not patronize businesses that ban open carry or concealed carry. If they choose to do so that is their right but I will simply take my money elsewhere.
Price of Liberty: National Military Service
A question to americans libertarians:
do you think it would be an improvement to replace the current US army (navy, airforce, etc) by a national military service ?It would be mandatory for every citizens, but escapable by paying a tax, strictly limited to the defense of the…
This is not so different from original conscription during the first wars in America- and guess who it discriminated against? The poor. The rich could pay to opt out or have some indentured servant (indebted American now…) fill their place. If I approved of discriminatory and forced labor then I would approve of this, but I don’t; so no. It’s completely un-libertarian to ever require forced service, especially when it involves committing acts of violence.
Many libertarians don’t endorse the concept of borders anyway.
Conscription only works during times of great social upheaval. During the Civil War where we see this concept brought in on mass conscription was just a tool used to encourage citizens to volunteer. Otherwise people were very pissed off if they go conscripted and there were even some riots in 1863.
Your more likely to hurt troop morale if you used conscription. What’s the point of universal military service when their isn’t a great crisis. If you introduce it then service members are going to be paid significantly less and be subjected to poor conditions. An all volunteer army forces the military to offer incentives to join. So this gives service members better pay and benefits so they can live more comfortably. If you look up Milton Friedman’s paper arguing for an all volunteer army you’ll find that service members were paid 45 dollars a week compared to 90 dollars that most civilian employees were making during the Vietnam war.
The use of compulsion in a free society is immoral.
Fuck housing authorities talk about trampling liberties. I shall have that shrub I desire whether my neighbor likes it or not.

Looks like everyone is pissed off because someone has a horse in their backyard.
This is a residential area that also happens to have a Homeowners association so if someone parks a boat on their grass or someone doesn’t use the right brick for siding it usually causes an uproar. The covenants do not allow livestock on the property.
Now I myself am not in favor of HOAs however if you voluntary move into a neighborhood that has one you have to abide by the covenants. You have to pay dues every year etc. It is written into the deed that the property is apart of the association. That is what I understand about how these covenants are enforceable.
I myself will never purchase property in an HOA because I’ll be damned before some asshole neighbor tells me what I can and cannot do on my own property.
So I will get to see how this plays out this weekend.
